My Story

My experience of managing my own autoimmune disease with acupuncture, led me to the study and practice of Chinese Medicine. My acupuncturist and mentor through that process introduced me to Jung Tao School of Classical Chinese Medicine, where I received my graduate diploma in Acupuncture. There I was taught to understand the energetic design of the human body and how it interacts within the laws of nature.

Studies abroad in the Mayan healing technique of Divine Intervention supported my commitment to energetic medicine and grounded my underlying belief that achieving true wellness, calls for treating the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual bodies as one.

Before all of this, I was a young person, influenced by my grandfather, a highly decorated military chaplain and, by all definitions, a presence healer. In my fifteen years of study and practice, I have learned a great deal about what it means to offer presence. What it means as a practitioner to set one’s own story aside, welcoming the patient to shed their defenses, open to their own wisdom, and lead the practitioner to the appropriate treatment. When we break down these common barriers, we create a healing room together. I hold this process as sacred.

Why Acupuncture?

The main philosophy of Acupuncture is to look at the whole system and determine where an individual may be experiencing an “absence of health”.  When the exact nature of this breakdown in health can be determined, any number of things can be improved, treated or cured - from acute muscular injury to mental and emotional imbalance.

Acupuncture is well known for treating pain because it often provides immediate relief and measurable results, while it also addresses the deeper cause of pain in the body.

Acupuncture’s ability to relieve, reduce or reverse internal issues such as hypertension, gastrointestinal disorders, gynecological issues, emotional and neurological disorders, supports the lasting effects of immediate pain relief.

“This amazing lady is a 10-star review! Bae is an amazing acupuncturist capable of alleviating all kinds of pain and improving overall health. I have cysts on my ovaries which can sometimes be painful but after just one treatment I've had no more issues. I highly recommend her for any of your health concerns!”
