My Philosophy
I know the human body to be a remarkable vehicle for change. The energetic design of the human body and how it interacts within the laws of nature, support my underlying belief that in order to achieve true wellness, it is essential to understand the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual bodies as a whole.
I have witnessed first-hand the powerful potential of Chinese Medicine when I treat the patient as symbiotic to the physical environment. My approach to care includes re-establishing a balance of the laws of nature, restoring the innate intelligence within the physical body, and allowing the patient to become an active participant in restoring health within.
“When we, as practitioners, look at people as numbers and treat their complaints as problems, we lose sight of the whole purpose.”
Yin/Yang of Healthcare
Chinese medicine often explains a western diagnosis in terms most patients can understand. It does not counter Western medicine; it supports it and empowers the patient. When presented with diagnoses and patient concerns, I research and listen to find the balance between the Eastern and Western approaches to healthcare.
I welcome X-ray images and bloodwork results. I welcome prescription protocols and supplements suggested by western physicians. And when appropriate, the work that we do together, in communication with your physician, may be able to reduce dosages and enhance quality of life.

“Bae Parker is an amazing acupuncturist! She is kind, compassionate, and so knowledgeable. I had a major whiplash accident and after seeing multiple western doctors with little results, she's the only one who could figure out the cause of my pain. With her help, I was on the path of recovery physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I am super grateful to have Bae on my side, knowing I can reach out whenever things flare up.”
